No matter how many interviews you might read with favorite romance authors, how often do those interview questions get personal? As is, what do the authors find romantic? I’m dying to try some of the recipes in this book, like “Dixie’s Decadent Dessert” 00 a chocolatey pie that sounds divine – and “Original Sin” – another pie that makes my mouth water just reading the recipe. Nearly 70 authors have contributed their recipes and romantic ideas to this project. I’m giving this one four of Cupid’s five arrows. It’s full of great ideas, and even has places for you to add your own romantic recipes. Enjoy.

This is such a great book, I’m surprised no one thought of it sooner! First, Recipes for Romance is a recipe book-filled with the kinds of decadent delights that make me wonder why I ever thought of dieting. From Jand Archer’s Texas Pralines to Pamela Morsi’s Mudd Tart,
there’s a romantic recipe in here for everyone.
If it were just a cookbook, however, I wouldn’t be raving about it. Recipes for Romance also carries snippets of interviews with the authors, asking questions such as what their favorite romantic movie is, what’s their favorite inexpensive way to be romantic, etc. In the back is a how-to for romance, complete with idyllic weekend ideas and tips for surprising that someone throughout the day. Since most of these women are also moms, considerations have been made for working around kids and soccer practice.
Recipes for Romance is an all-around great cookbook, both for edible and not-so-edible romantic moments...
